Police Blotter: Troop F Arrests for July 24-25

Jared T. Mills, 25, of 63 Webster Road in East Lyme, was pulled over for a motor vehicle license plate violation and was charged with failing to display proper plates, failure to provide a license or driving while under suspension, and with possession of a controlled substance after police found a small quantity of marijuana in the vehicle.  

July 25

Old Lyme Police Department responded to reports of a bonfire and underage drinking party east of White Sands Beach. Several youths were issued infractions for possession of alcohol by minors.

Ricardo Ruben Baez, 28, of 130 Boston Post Road, Apt. 31, in East Lyme was charged with operating a motor vehicle when the driver's license has been suspended or revoked, for driving at excessive speed (up to 85 mph), for driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, and for possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use cannabis. Bond was set at $500.
