Road Work, Better Weather, Better Pay Taxes
A look at the week ahead, July 29-Aug. 3, 2013 in East Lyme, Old Lyme, and Lyme

What's The Weather? Expect another muggy day with temperatures and humidity hitting 82 degrees and the possibility of scattered thunderstorms. Once those storms have passed, however, the humidity should drop and bring more liveable weather for the next few days. Tuesday could be the best day of the week, sunny and dry with a high of 81 degrees and an overnight low of 63 degrees. Click here to find the five day forecast from Weather.com.
Road Work: The "Q" Bridge roadwork in New Haven finished ahead of schedule this weekend and the new bridge is now open. However, there will be delays on local roads today. The Old Lyme Public Works Department reports that road resurfacing will begin today on Ferry Road, from Route 156 to DEEP headquarters and down Sandpiper Point Road. The work will continue through August 2.
Taxes Are Due: August 1 is the deadline to pay property taxes in East Lyme, Old Lyme, and Lyme.
