The Lights Are Coming On—Don't Forget to Set the Clocks Back!

CL&P's outage map shows that nearly everyone in East Lyme and Lyme have now have power but about one fifth of Old Lyme is still without it.

As of 7 p.m. Connecticut Light & Power was reporting that just 2 percent of East Lyme's CL&P customers and 8 percent of Lyme's remained without power. Old Lyme was down to 19 percent without power.

The Lymes' Senior Center will be open as a respite center for Lyme and Old Lyme residents until power is restored and there are now places to shower, too.

When you do get the power back and all your digital clocks are blinking, don't forget to set them back one hour. The time change for daylight savings happens officially at 2 a.m. Sunday.
