Things to Be Aware Of—Roadwork, Wastewater, and Public Indecency

1. Today, forecasters are saying, will be the best beach weather we've seen in a while. Sunny, clear, with a high of 81 degrees and an overnight low of 62 degrees, according to weather.com. 

2. Old Lyme's Planning Commission is holding a Special Meeting/Workshop to night to consider changes to design and construction standards. The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. in Mezzanine Conference Room of Old Lyme Town Hall.  

3. Old Lyme will hold a Wastewater Information Session on the study Old Lyme is currently undertaking to explore the possibility of creating a wastewater treatment system. The session will be held 7:30 p.m. at the Meeting Hall in Old Lyme Town Hall. 

4. In case you missed it, there have been reports of a man indecently exposing himself to women in the vicinity of the Crystal Mall in Waterford. If you see anything suspicious, please report it to Waterford Police. 

5. Reminder: Road resurfacing may delay traffic on Ferry Road in Old Lyme, from Route 156 to DEEP headquarters and down Sandpiper Point Road. The work will continue through August 2.
