VERNON, CT — The shelter at the Vernon-based Cornerstone Foundation is full of babies and to celebrate — and to assist those in need — officials at the charitable organization are staging a virtual shower.

"We're thrilled to share that seven beautiful babies — including a set of twins — have recently arrived at our shelter, and their families need our help," Cornerstone officials said.

Thus, a virtual shower has been set up with shopping on Amazon. Residents of the region can support the little ones by purchasing much-needed baby items from an Amazon wish list.
