MIDDLETOWN, CT — Middletown Police Monday announced the activation of two additional speed cameras.

Here are the particulars:

Site 1

  • Westfield Street within the Spencer Elementary School Zone westbound/eastbound Westfield Street between McCormick Lane and Bailey Road
  • School Safety Zone Speed Limit — 20 mph between 8 and 9:15 a.m.; and between 3 and 3:45 p.m.
  • Other Speed Limit Enforcement — 30 mph during Non-School Zone Hours

Site 2

  • Country Club Road east of Higby Road, westbound and eastbound - speed limit enforcement 25 mph at all times

Warnings will begin on Nov. 17 and citations will begin on Dec. 22, police said.
