Dumpster Diver Wearing Industrial Suit Arrested In Vernon
A man wearing a one-piece industrial suit was arrested after dumpster-diving in Vernon, state police said.

VERNON, CT — A man in an expensive car who came prepared to dive into a dumpster is now facing a trespassing charge in Vernon, state police said.
State police released a report on the April 8 incident this week.
According to an arrest report, at 2:54 p.m. that day, a state trooper happened to be passing by the upscale Trail Run apartment complex and noticed a silver Mercedez-Benz E350 parked near some dumpsters on the southwest side of the property. The trooper then noticed a man wearing a one-piece protective industrial suit, rubber gloves and a winter mask taking things out of a dumpster and placing them in a placing them in a plastic bag, according to an arrest report.

When questioned by the trooper, the man refused to identify himself, but eventually was determined to be a 39-year-old Bloomfield resident.
The property manager then told the trooper that the man was banned from the complex for previous trespassing incidents.

Her was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and interfering with police.
