That right, two big CT Lottery prizes were claimed just in time for the holiday.

On Dec. 23, an unnamed winner from Clinton cashed in a ticket worth $100,000 from the Pinball Wizard 2nd Edition Game.

That represented the final of five top prizes in the game, which costs $10 to play.

For the Pinball Wizard win, we will forever be asking "Who?," not for the band who wrote the rock opera of the same name, but because, as of Oct. 1 of this year, the CT Lottery stopped publishing winners’ names without their written consent (in accordance with Sec. 3(d) of Public Act 25-112 for those keeping score at home).

The winning ticket was purchased at the 685 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, location of Sam's Food Stores.

Also on Dec. 23, an unnamed player from Southington cashed in a $100,000 winner in the Holiday Cash 100X game.

That was the last of three top prizes in the game, which features a $10 ticket.

The ticket was purchased at the Alltown Fresh Middlebury store.
