
According to Vernon Police, a single-car crash closed one lane of Route 83 Saturday afternoon.
The vehicle's only occupant, an unidentified male, required medical attention and was transported to the hospital via Life Star.
While the cause of the crash has yet to be determined, police said Saturday that a medical condition may have caused the driver to swerve and collide with a telephone pole.

As of 6 p.m., Vernon police said one lane will remain closed as the scene is worked on, but the road remains open.
Police could not say the condition of the injured driver upon transport.
