Eastern Connecticut Health Network Announces Hospital Buyer

Los Angeles-based Prospect Medical Holdings is set to acquire Manchester Memorial and Rockville General hospitals, reports the CT Mirror.

The terms of the sale will be reviewed by Eastern Connecticut Health Network’s governing body and voted on this summer.

Prospect is already in the process of acquiring Waterbury Hospital.

The hospitals in Manchester and Vernon had been part of a previous plan to be acquired, along with three other hospitals, by Texas-based Tenet Healthcare, but that deal fell through.
