Friends of Rockville Public Library Meeting November 6th at Noon

Join us as you will learn about Rachel Carson, author of Silent Spring, presented by our guest speaker Bev York

At the meeting, the Friends will be collecting nonperishable food items which will be brought to the Cornerstone as well as boxes of cereal which will be delivered at a later date to several food pantries in our area.

The library is collecting socks (Socktober) which can be placed in the designated box in the library.

FYI, the Friends will be holding their Holiday Cookie Sale on Saturday, December 20th, 10-1 with orders of 2lb trays of homemade cookies for $20 being taken by calling the library staff at 860-875-5892.
