Here's a peek at four of them:

Tolland County

Bolton Road and Clark Road in Vernon — At first, it looks like the thing fell out of the sky and randomly landed there. But, in hindsight, it makes sense. Though it is south of the Interstate 84 Exit 66 interchange, the exit ramps are used by commuters in several towns and there is room to pull over and use the mailbox.

7 Lyons Road, Stafford — Just have "Country Roads" playing when you're putting along, searching for an old-time looking store.

Hartford County

531 Cherry Brook Road, Canton — Right in front of the whitewashed building near the Route 309 junction stands a bright blue mailbox.

(Google Maps)

20 Babbs Road, Suffield — A blue mailbox sits on a grassy strip just before the parking lot at a remote shopping plaza.
