Hidden Gems Of Hartford And Tolland Counties

VERNON, CT — Did you know there is a secret underground duckpin bowing alley in Vernon?

OK, it's not exactly a cave, but it is on the lower level of the TKB Club at 1 Vernon Ave.

The lanes are available for membership leagues and private parties. The alley is affectionately called "Bucky Bowl."

The TKB Club has been around for years and is part entertainment hall, part low-cost bar and serves as a old-school community hub.

Darts tournaments and bingo are also regular features at TKB.
