Incident Interrupts Classes At RHS For 2nd Consecutive Day
An internal incident briefly put RHS in a secure mode Wednesday.

VERNON, CT — For the second day in a row, classes and activities at Rockville High School were interrupted by an incident inside the building.
On Wednesday morning two students became locked in a rest room and the RHS maintenance staff had to remove a door to get them out, RHS principal Jason Magao said. The work presented a temporary hazard in a hallway and the building was placed in a short "secure mode" as a result, he said.
No injuries were reported.
