The Non-vote Consequence

I tried to do a small part in helping Democratic candidates win in this 2024 election. Some state candidates won and a couple did not. We all know by now that Harris lost. It’s sad and confusing and it will be frightening for our immediate and long term future. But what is more sad and disturbing is that it is estimated that over 15 million eligible democratic voters did not vote. They decided to sit out the election for various unknown reasons. They wasted their precious and hard earned vote when they chose to not vote. Be aware that trumpers never waste an opportunity to vote to save their savior. But data shows that the total Trump votes in 2024 was similar to his total votes in 2020 when he lost. Trump had approximately 71 million votes in 2020 and in 2024. He never surpassed the number from Biden who had about 81 million votes for the majority. What happened to those 81 million voters in this 2024 election? In 2024 Harris only received 66 million votes, 15 million less of the Biden totals.
If every one voted as they did in 2020 Harris would have hit the 81 million votes. It is the Non-Voters who wasted their precious vote when they decided to sit this election out. At our most vulnerable and consequential election, about 15 million voters simply decided to sit this one out. So here we are. Trump and his Project 2025 is here. It seems like the non voters wasted away not only their precious vote but they also gave away our freedom and our country. A full Harris vote in 2024 could have reached the Biden 81 million mark beating the 71 million 2024 trump votes. The consequence of not-voting will follow us for years to comes. Imagine and believe that your vote matters. Never sit out an election. You had great options: Mail in voting, Absentee Ballots, In-person voting, Early voting. Fulfilling your civic responsibilities could have saved our lives and our country. Never give up what you’ve been given through the sacrifices of your family and friends.
