State Police Seeking Hit-And-Run Driver In Mansfield

A newer car was hit in Mansfield late last week and the driver left the scene, state police said.

MANSFIELD, CT — State police are on the lookout for a mystery vehicle that bashed into a fairly new car in the center of Mansfield late last week.

According to a crash report, at 3:08 p.m. Friday, a 2024 Nissan Sentra belonging to a 66-year-old Mansfield resident was parked unoccupied in a designated spot at 1 Royce Circle.

An unknown vehicle then came by, hit the Nissan, and fled the scene, according to a crash report.
