Local, State And Federal Authorities Pinch Suspected Teen Drug Dealer In Vernon
A teen has been arrested as part of a drug operation in Vernon.

VERNON, CT — A teen is being detained on bonds totaling $400,000 after his arrest by state, federal and local agents, judicial system and police records indicate.
The arrest of 19-year-old Eliezer Almanzar was part of an operation involving the state East Central Narcotics Task Force, the federal Drug Enforcement Administration and Vernon police on East Main Street in the Rockville section of Vernon, records show. His listed address is nearby on Prospect Street, according to an arrest report.
Each of the four warrants for his arrest came with a $100,000 bond, authorities said. On three warrants, he was charged with the sale of narcotics and possession of a controlled substance.

The fourth set of charges Almanzar is facing includes possession of a controlled substance, attempt to commit the sale of a narcotic substance and the use of drug paraphernalia.
He was arraigned the day after his arrest and is due for a second appearance in Rockville Superior Court on May 9, records show.
