SUV Gets Stuck On Rock After Crash In Vernon
A compact sport utility vehicle became stuck on a rock after crashing in Vernon, police and fire officials said.

VERNON, CT — A compact sport utility vehicle became stuck on a rock after crashing in Vernon, police and fire officials said.
The crash took place Tuesday evening on Hockanum Boulevard, officials said.
It was at at traffic island near the driveway to the Mansions at Hockanum Crossing apartment complex, officials said. Not only did the SUV get stuck on a rock, but it also bashed into a sign sitting at one end of the traffic island. Its entire grill was wrecked by the impact and the front bumper was mangled.

The driver reported no injuries and refused treatment from an EMS unit at the scene, officials said.
