Vernon Election Results 2025: Mayor Re-Elected, Major Shakeup On Council

Vernon residents cast their ballots for several key local races on Election Day. Here are the latest results.

VERNON, CT — Republican Mayor Dan Champagne has been re-elected and local Democrats have seized control of the Vernon Town Council.

It was essentially a sweep for the Dems on election night. Every Democratic candidate garnered more than 3,000 votes and not one GOP candidate hit that mark.
