VERNON, CT — The Vernon Historical Society is now accepting items for its annual book sale,
The sale is a major springtime fundraiser for the society and a popular event in the region. The society is located at 734 Hartford Turnpike.
The historical society is requesting new or used books that are clean, odor-free and in good condition. Books will be accepted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon and and from 2 to 4 p.m.
