VERNON, CT — Late last week, Vernon police officer Cara Momnie was honored with the Law Enforcement Sector All-Star Award from the Connecticut Association for Prevention Professionals.

The recognition highlights her work with the Vernon ROCKS Coalition and her "dedication" as the school resource officer at Rockville High School.

Said police, "Her commitment to building strong community partnerships and supporting our youth is truly exceptional."
