VERNON, CT — A Vernon woman was arrested twice by local police in the span of about three hours over the weekend.

The 26-year-old is now facing two sets of second-degree breach of peace, arrest reports show.

At 9:12 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to the Park West apartment complex, where several women were yelling and screaming at each other. It was determined that the 26-year-old pushed another woman to the ground and was attempting to charge after her before being thwarted, according to an arrest report.

She posted a $1,000 bond and was released from custody, records show.

At 12:15 a.m., Vernon police were back in the area — at the woman's residence on South Street — where she had thrown a water bottle at a computer during an argument, according to an arrest report.

The second time around, she had to put up a $5,000 bond, records show.
