1 Killed In Head-On Crash In Wallingford: Police

One driver was killed and another was hospitalized after a head-on crash in Wallingford, according to police.

WALLINGFORD, CT — One driver was killed and another was hospitalized after a head-on crash Thursday in Wallingford, according to police.

Police responded around 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 to reports of a two-vehicle head-on crash on Grieb Road, between Leigus Road and Fairlawn Drive, according to Police Chief John Ventura.

Ventura said the preliminary investigation indicates that Jason Miller, 38, was driving a Saab westbound on Grieb Road when he collided head-on with a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was traveling east.

Miller was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Ventura.

Ventura said the 74-year-old driver of the Jeep was taken to a local medical facility for evaluation.
