24-Year-Old Wallingford Motorcyclist Killed In Oxford Crash, ID Released By Police
The motorcycle went down an embankment and the driver was thrown from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries, police said.
OXFORD, CT — A 24-year-old Wallingford man was killed when his motorcycle went down an embankment and ended up in a wooded area, state police said.
At 4:47 p.m. Tuesday, Oxford Police with state troopers responded to 438 Guntown Road, where Wallingford police said they had found a missing person from an open case in their town, state police said in a news release.
Police found a 2001 Honda motorcycle approximately 20 feet down an embankment on the southbound shoulder of Guntown Road, into a wooded area.

The driver, Robert David Connolly Jr., 24, of Wallingford, was thrown as a result of the collision and sustained fatal injuries, state police said.
State Police are investigating and ask anyone with information to call them at 203-888-4353.
