WALLINGFORD, CT — A winning lottery ticket worth $40,000 was recently sold in Wallingford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Waterbury resident won $40,000 on a KENO ticket that was sold at A & D Package Store at 38 South Turnpike Road in Wallingford, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
