Big Lottery Prize Sold In Wallingford

The big win came on a scratch ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A winning scratch ticket worth $10,000 was recently sold in Wallingford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Hamden resident won $10,000 on a 10X Cash 17th Edition scratch ticket that was sold at Shell Food Mart at 1059 North Colony Rd. in Wallingford, according to lottery officials.

A Wallingford resident also recently won $10,000 on a scratch ticket that was sold in Branford.

The big win came on a $100,000 CA$HWORD ticket that was sold at 350 Foxon Road Food Mart LLC at 202 East Main St. in Branford.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
