Christmas Tree Collection Schedule Announced In Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — The Wallingford Public Works Department will begin picking up natural Christmas trees in all sections of town starting Monday, Jan. 12.
Residents must have Christmas Trees to be picked up at the curbside Sunday, Jan. 11, according to officials.
Trees must be clean of ornaments, bows, tinsel, etc. No plastic bags or wreaths will be picked up. This is a one-time pickup, officials said.

Wallingford residents can recycle their natural Christmas Tress at the Compost Center (157 John St.) on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. until Jan. 15.
The compost area will be closed for the season as of Jan. 15, 2026.
