Celebrate Wallingford

I want to take a moment to recognize a great annual event in town. Every year since the 1980s we have a two-day community fair called Celebrate Wallingford, which displays everything our town has. There are over 100 vendors, including food, local business, nonprofits, and crafters. To further contribute to the sense of community, there is live music and family-friendly activities, such as pie-eating contests. Over 7000 people attend this event each year. Additionally, Celebrate Wallingford provides an opportunity for high school students to give back to the community with set-up and clean-up or helping at booths while earning community service hours towards graduation.
