Christmas Tree Collection Schedule Announced In Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — The Wallingford Public Works Department will begin picking up natural Christmas trees in all sections of town beginning Monday, Jan. 13.

Residents must have Christmas trees ready to be picked up at the curbside no later than Sunday, Jan. 12, according to the Public Works Department.

Trees must be clean of ornaments, bows, tinsel, etc. No plastic bags or wreaths will be picked up. This is a one-time pickup, officials said.

Wallingford residents can also recycle their natural Christmas trees at the Compost Center (157 John St.) on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. until Jan. 15, 2025. The Compost Center will then close for the season.
