Ducklings Rescued From Storm Drain In Wallingford: FD

WALLINGFORD, CT — Firefighters had a different kind of rescue Monday morning in Wallingford by coming to the aid of several ducklings that were stuck in a storm drain.

“One of the best parts of being a firefighter is every day is different,” officials wrote in a post on the Wallingford Fire Department’s Facebook page. “Today our crews responded to assist some of our feathered residents that found themselves stuck in a storm drain. All are safe and returned to their habitat.”
