Eve Held, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025

Eve Held (Weinstein), a woman whose life was a testament to resilience, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, at the age of 89. Born in Eisenach, Germany, on April 29, 1936, Eve’s journey was defined by strength, a sweet disposition, and a profound capacity to love.

Throughout her long and meaningful life, Eve lived wholeheartedly for her family, embodying a presence that brought comfort and joy to those around her. She was a pillar of support, always ready to do whatever was needed for her loved ones. Her embraces were legendary, capable of melting away worries and serving as powerful reminders of her deep affection. Those who knew her will forever cherish the feeling of being held by her.

Eve also possessed a joyful appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. Her delight in a good meal was infectious; the simple, heartfelt exclamation of “yummy” after her first bite became a cherished expression of her contentment and zest for life.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Barry Held and Barbra Held. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Matthew (Jennifer) Held, Robert Held, Barry Held Jr., and Noah Held, as well as her great-grandchildren, Henry and Jack. Eve’s memory is also held close by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Eve was preceded in death by her beloved sons, Jeffrey and Fred Held.

Services will be private at Kings Highway Cemetery in Milford.
