WALLINGFORD, CT — A Wallingford family is asking for help with finding their dog that has been missing since June 6.

“Taylor” was lost in the West Dayton Hill Road area of Wallingford, according to owner Stephen Cappuccia. The woods in that area connect into Northford, North Haven, Wallingford, Branford, and North Branford.

Cappuccia said Taylor was last seen on Saturday, June 14 at the East Coast Swap Flyers field near the Northford Ice Pavilion, and she may have crossed Route 22 into North Haven, as the woods and water source she seems to be following all connect there.

“She is a super sweet dog but very timid and scared and will likely run,” Cappuccia said in an email. “We are trying to get a good spot to possibly set a dog trap to catch her. She tends to travel at night as we have had most of the sighting on video door bells and spot light cameras between 9pm and 3am she was seen twice at the East Coast Swap Flyers field around 6pm of Friday and mid-afternoon on Saturday. But no sightings since then.”
