Holiday Stroll In Wallingford: What To Know Before You Go

WALLINGFORD, CT — The town’s annual Holiday Stroll will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 in downtown Wallingford.

The event is sponsored by Wallingford Center Inc. and Wallingford Park & Recreation.

“Shop and enjoy retailers & restaurants along Center St, Quinnipiac St, North & South Colony Rd. and Simpson Court,” reads a post on the Wallingford Center Inc. website. “Get ready for the Holiday Stroll in Wallingford, CT! From 5 to 9 PM, local merchants will be rolling out special discounts and deals to kickstart your Christmas shopping. As you stroll down Center Street, indulge in warm coffee, sample festive goodies, and even catch a glimpse of Santa himself! Don’t miss the cozy bonfire at the Gazebo, where you can warm up and enjoy delicious treats from local food trucks, along with roasted chestnuts and kettle corn.

“Marvel at the Christmas tree and discover delightful surprises around every corner. Bring the whole family and join us for a night of holiday magic—we can't wait to see you there!”

There will also be an opportunity to win one of five raffle baskets filled with “local goodies valued at $250 to $1,000!,” according to the post. “Keep a look out for the white ballot boxes, make sure to go the distance & save those receipts for extra raffle entries!”
