Lane Closures Announced On Route 15 In Wallingford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is advising motorists of lane closures that will be in effect over several weeks on Route 15.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that guiderail and attenuator installation will be performed over several weeks on Route 15 in the center median north and southbound in North Haven and Wallingford.

The project started Sunday, Oct. 26 and is scheduled to be completed on Thursday morning, Jan. 22, 2026, according to officials.

The project consists of safety improvements to guiderail and attenuators, according to officials.

There will be left lane closures on Route 15 north and southbound from Exit 53 to the Wallingford/Meriden town line from Sunday night, Oct. 26, 2025, to Thursday morning, Jan. 22, 2026, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The work schedule is Sunday night to Thursday morning. Traffic control signing patterns, State Troopers will guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
