Spring Session Enrollment Now Open for Gaylord Hospital's Certified Nursing Assistant Academy

Enrollment is currently open for the spring session of Gaylord Hospital’s Certified Nursing Assistant Academy, a five-week learning experience that thoroughly prepares students to take the Connecticut Nurse Aide certification exam and excel in their career.
Led by a team of professionals including a registered nurse and certified nursing assistant, the immersive program teaches students to care for patients with complex medical needs through classroom learning, instruction in a state-of-the-art patient simulation lab, hands-on experience in Gaylord Hospital’s rehabilitation unit, and exposure to an interdisciplinary team of professionals.
Class sizes are limited to eight students per session to ensure that participants can develop skills through high-quality, individualized learning.

Students may be eligible for immediate employment at Gaylord Hospital and reimbursement of program fees after successful course completion. Shadowing and mentoring opportunities are available for students interested in various clinical roles including RN, LPN, OT, PT, RT.
