Lyman Hall-Sheehan Alumni Hockey Game To Benefit YMCA Project

The upcoming alumni hockey game will help raise funds for the Wallingford Family YMCA's aquatics center expansion project.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Alumni from Lyman Hall and Sheehan will battle it out in a hockey game later this month to help raise funds for the Wallingford Family YMCA’s “Just Add Water” Aquatics Center expansion project.

The hockey game will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27 at Remsen Arena and Hemenway Rink at Choate Rosemary Hall, 333 Christian Street.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Wallingford Family YMCA’s Just Add Water Capital Campaign.

“The Just Add Water Capital Campaign is a commitment to making aquatic programs accessible to everyone, regardless of age or ability,” according to a post on the Wallingford Family YMCA’s Facebook page. “By reaching out for community support, the Y hopes to create a vibrant space where wellness, safety, and community connection flourish. With contributions from supporters, our new Aquatics Center can become a vital resource, promoting health, safety, and fun for years to come. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to meet a wide range of needs, from swim lessons, recreational and competitive swimming to therapeutic and family-friendly aquatic activities.”
