UPDATE: The Silver Alert has been canceled, Connecticut State Police said in an update Friday night. The case has been resolved, according to police. No further information was provided.

(Original post) WALLINGFORD, CT — A Silver Alert has been issued for Carl White, 89, who is missing from Wallingford, according to police.

White is described by police as a white male with white hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a gray pullover sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers, according to police.

Police said he was driving a white 2012 Chevy Traverse with Connecticut plate number 335DDV.
