Obituary: Alice “Holly” Kopylec Williams, 89, of Wallingford

Alice cherished her loved ones and was a dedicated bookkeeper at Borrelli Farms in North Haven for many years.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Alice “Holly” Kopylec Williams, 89, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2022, surrounded by family in her home that she and her late husband built in 1954.

Holly was born on October 18, 1932, in East Haven and later moved to Wallingford where she married the love of her life, the late Justin Williams.

Holly enjoyed raising her family and found great joy at Borrelli Farms in North Haven, CT as a bookkeeper. Her next endeavor took her to Holly Cakes cake decorating, where she discovered her true passion.

She found joy in impacting the lives of many newlyweds with her beautifully detailed wedding cakes.

Holly and Justin had a home where the door was always open, especially for holidays where the family gathered, and everyone was welcome. A place where many share fond memories.

In addition to their home in Wallingford, they extended their roots to Reading, VT and Willow Lakes RV Resort in Titusville, FL.

After retirement, Holly and Justin became board members of the Good Sam’s RV Camping Club. They traveled throughout the United States in their RV that brought them many friends and great memories they treasured.

Holly is survived by her sons, Edward Williams (Cindy) of Phoenix Arizona, Raymond Williams, and Alan Williams (Marlene) of Wallingford.

She is also survived by her siblings, Annie Dellavalle of Massachusetts, and Theresa Wayne of Florida as well as her grandchildren, Emily (Zelig), Rebecca (Moshe), Ben (Shannon), Rachel (Kevin), Morgan (Patrick), Justin (Samantha), Matthew and 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved and adored dearly.

Holly is predeceased by her siblings, Mary Gould, Andrew, John, Joseph, Michael, and Stephen Kopylec.

The family would like to thank the Franciscan Home Care & Hospice Care. A special thank you to Dr. Audrey Lefkowitz for putting Holly’s mind at ease on her journey home.

Holly’s family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Wednesday, March 2nd, from 2 to 3 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 3pm.

Interment will be in the spring at In Memoriam Cemetery.
