Obituary: Casimir R. Trojanowski, 66, of Wallingford

Casimir was a longtime employee of Colt, an avid photographer, traveler and dedicated friend, brother and uncle.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Casimir R. Trojanowski, 66, of Wallingford, passed away on September 9, 2021. Cas was born May 14, 1955 in Detroit, MI to the late Kazimierz and Josephine Trojanowski.

Cas is survived by his brother Mark (Karen), and his nieces Melissa (Keith), Jenna (Edward), Stacy, and his great nieces Harper, Rylie, Aubrey and great nephew Bryce.

Cas graduated from Mark T. Sheehan High School Class of 1976 and continued his life in Wallingford. He was most proud of his early job at Colt in Hartford, CT, which would hold life long memories he would readily share.

Cas enjoyed taking pictures, hearing about family members and friends travels and escapades, and going to the range and casino. He was always eager to give someone a lift. Above all else, he loved food and especially Polish food.

He surprised many with his interest of watching Jeopardy and football. He was fortunate to have traveled to the West Coast with his brother after graduation, Chicago, and Florida on several occasions.

He looked forward to his class reunion in 2022. Cas contributed stories and offered pictures to local news outlets of various activities at the Skyview Center in Wallingford where he was a resident since early 2014. His demanding but jovial ways won him the love by staff.

A celebration of life for family and close friends with interment will be at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA.
