Obituary: Daniel Brennan Hill, 60, of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Daniel Brennan Hill, age 60 of Wallingford, CT, beloved husband of Deborah Baker Hill for 35 years, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2022. Born on August 17, 1961 in New Haven, CT.

He is the son of Frederick and Harriet (Brennan) Hill of West Haven, CT.

Dan was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, attended Central Connecticut State University (BS) and University of New Haven where he earned an MBA.

He was an extremely successful executive Sales and Marketing Manager both in the US and abroad, and well known throughout the Industrial Manufacturing Industry.

Dan was an avid golfer. He especially enjoyed playing with his father, father-in-law, brother-in-law and friends. Everyone was so proud of him when he got a hole in one!

He was a sports enthusiast but most happy watching his daughter play competitive tennis. When traveling worldwide with his family, they were able to attend all Four Grand Slam tennis championships which was his daughter’s dream.

Dan loved his collection of antique cars. He owned his first one a Plymouth ’49 at 16 years of age and its still in the family today.

In addition to his parents and wife he is survived by his daughter, Christine and her long-time boyfriend James; Brother, Rick Hill and Sister Sharon Wostbrock (John).

Mother-in-law Yvonne Baker; sister-in-law, Lori Blaise (Mike); brother-in-law, Gary Baker (Terri); Nephews and Nieces, Dan Wostbrock (Julie), Neal Wostbrock (Jordan), Michelle Blaise, Tara Blaise, and Brittney Baker.

Along with three adorable great- nieces, Addie, Kelsey and Laurel.

Friends and family may gather on Friday, March 25th, 2022 at 10:30 am at Saint Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Avenue, Milford, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Buckingham Avenue, Milford.
