Obituary: Henry J. “Hank” Ivan Jr., 77, of Wallingford
Hank devoted 49 years for the Wallingford Electric Division. He cherished his family, friends and was an active member of the community.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Henry J. “Hank” Ivan Jr., 77, of Wallingford passed away January 21, 2022. He was born in Meriden on November 11, 1944 to the late Henry J. Sr. and Caroline (Michna) Ivan.
He retired after 49 devoted years from the Wallingford Electric Division. Hank was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School and New Haven College.
He was also a long-time manager of the Cassello Real Estate softball team in the slo-pitch league.
Hank had many good memories enjoying the New Haven Nighthawks hockey team with his many close friends in his earlier years.
He was also a life member and Past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Pinta Council #5.
Hank was also a member of Elks Lodge 1365.
He was a big fan of both the New York Yankees and New York Giants. Hank was loved and will be missed by many close friends and co-workers. Hank leaves behind cousins, dear friends, and loved ones.
Hank is survived by many friends and two cousins. He appreciated the unconditional care he received from Hartford Health Care during his illness.
In lieu of flowers donations in Hank’s memory can be made to The Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, Tn 38105.
Friends will be received at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 9 am until 10 am. A funeral service will be held at 10 am in the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
