Obituary: James Anthony Gagliola, 64, of Wallingford
James, a carpenter by trade and lover of animals, was known as kind, loyal and devoted to his family and friends.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) James Anthony Gagliola, 64, of Wallingford, formerly of Vermont, died Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Skyview Center in Wallingford.
James was born in Meriden, July 28, 1957, a son of the late Robert Dybec Sr. and Nancy (Cascio) Dybec.
He worked as a carpenter.
He had a great love for the outdoors and animals, especially his dog Astray. He loved his children more than anything and would do anything for them at a moments notice.
He was a very kind and loyal man and truly loved his family and friends. He appreciated the simple things in life, such as waking up to the view of the mountains and sounds of nature outside his front door. He was a very generous man. He will truly be missed by many.

He is survived by his children: Christopher James Gagliola and Carrie-Jean Wardencki (Pastore), and their mother Nancy Pastore; Kimberly Gagliola, Michael James Gagliola and Carol-Ann Cabana, Amy Jones and their mother Nandra Herold.
He also leaves his grandchildren, Arielle DeSanto, Jace Bisnov and Kaydence Bisnov; his brothers, Michael Gagliola and Robert Dybec and wife Marge; many step-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and his Earth Peoples Park family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, David Wardencki; and his brother, James Cascio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 18th at 12 pm at Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Rd., Wallingford.
Interment will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Durham Rd., Wallingford. Gifts in his memory may be sent to the charity of one’s choice.
