Obituary: Jean A. (Trailer) Kobrin, 91, of Yalesville
Jean was known as an inspiration, kind and gracious and was the face of the Wallingford Public Library for many years.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Jean A. (Trailer) Kobrin, 91, of Yalesville, wife of the late Stanley Kobrin, passed away peacefully August 6, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born in Meriden on March 31, 1930, a daughter of the late Michael and Bessie (Kovach) Trailer.
She was the face of the Wallingford Public Library where she retired after 46 years. She loved bird watching, playing word games and spending time with family and friends.
She will be remembered as a kind and gracious lady who was an inspiration to many.
She is survived by her son, Paul Kobrin and his wife, Patricia; her daughters, Cathy Kobrin, Sharon Vojtila and her husband, Robert and Nancy Higgins and her husband, David; her grandchildren; Gregg Kobrin, Jill Walsh, Stacy Schoen and Alexandra Vojtila; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Schoen, Amaya Schoen, Capri Kobrin, Kobrin Walsh and Rex Walsh; and extended family. She was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Cassella.
Her family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext. on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 5 pm until 7 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated directly at Our Lady of Fatima Church on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 10 am. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
