Obituary: Joanne F. (Kondracki) Hebert, 64, of Wallingford
Joanne was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She cherished family vacations, baking and shopping.
WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Joanne F. (Kondracki) Hebert, 64, of Wallingford, beloved wife of the late George L. Hebert Jr., passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 7, 2021 after a short illness at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Joanne was born in Meriden, August 5, 1956, daughter of the late Charles J. and Sophie (Pogwizd) Kondracki.
She was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School and had been a Wallingford resident for many years. She married her loving husband George on Aug. 30, 1980, and became the caregiver of their three beloved sons.
Joanne also was a parishioner of the Church of the Resurrection. She never wanted to leave the house without make up and truly enjoyed spending many summers at Highland Orchards Campground with her boys as they grew up, boat rides to Block Island, talking on the telephone, baking and QVC shopping.
Joanne leaves behind her three sons, Michael C. Hebert and his fiancée, Christine of Wallingford, George L. Hebert III and his wife, Kristy of Killingworth, and Jeffrey C. Hebert and his wife Ashley of Wallingford; her four grandchildren, Lexus, George IV, Chase and Claire; loving long time close friend, Daniel “Danny” Plunske; her brother-in-law William Vanski, Jr., husband of her late sister Carol of Wallingford; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, sister, and special four-legged friend, Morgan.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Regency House and Rehabilitation of Wallingford for their care over the years, VITAS Hospice and the team at YNHH for their care and support in her last days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, July 17th at 2pm directly at the Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Rd., Wallingford.
There will be no calling hours. Her beloved family will reunite Joanne with her late husband and beloved late pet Morgan privately.
