Obituary: Joseph T. Joseph, 75, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Joseph Thengumthyil Joseph, 75, of Wallingford, husband of Maria P. Joseph, passed away April 27, 2024 at Hartford Hospital.

Joseph was born in Ettumanoor, India on February 12, 1949, a son of the late Joseph and Aleyamma (Thechankery) Kuruvila.

Joseph was a family man who, after immigrating to the United States in 1985, spent his days supporting his loved ones. He was a devoted father and husband. He was passionate about gardening and giving back to those less fortunate.

In addition to his wife, Maria, he is survived by his son, Justin Joseph and his wife, Micaela, of Foxboro, MA; his siblings, Cyriac Joseph, Kuriakose, T. Joseph, Thomas Joseph, James Thengumthyil, Molly Joseph, and Roy Joseph; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Alexander Joseph.

Joseph’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024, directly at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wallingford. Interment will be private.
