Obituary: Katherine Iannucci, 79, of Wallingford
Katherine was a longtime dietetic technician for Yale-New Haven Hospital and was also an active member of the Wallingford Senior Center.
WALLINGFORD, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Katherine Iannucci, age 79, of Wallingford passed away at her home on March 18, 2022. For 57 years, she was the loving wife of Donald Iannucci.
Katherine was born in West Haven, daughter of the late Salvatore and Rachel Lucibello Formica. She is also survived by her sons, Donald Iannucci and Eric Iannucci and his wife Di, her grandchildren, Samuel, Julia, Michael, Nicholas & Neo Iannucci, and her brother Rocco Formica.
Katherine was predeceased by a sister Amelia Civarella.
Prior to her retirement, Katherine enjoyed her career as a dietetic technician, working for Yale New Haven Hospital.
She was also an active member of the Wallingford Senior Center.
Katherine was an avid gardener who loved working in her yard every day.
Her friends and family were her most cherished treasure, and she treated them with the utmost care and concern, moving between the roles of mentor, confidant, and peer with grace and gentle understanding.
She will be terribly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 28th, from 9-10:30am at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green, with a funeral service commencing at the funeral home at 10:30.
Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
