Obituary: Linda L. Gardner, 78, of Wallingford
Linda, always kind and generous, was a teacher at Little People's Day School in Wallingford and also taught ballet with Janet Fabian Young.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Linda L. Gardner, age 78, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband by her side, on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021.
She was born in New Haven on January 13, 1943, daughter of the late Eveard & Lettie (Wallace) Harnish. As a young woman, Linda was swept off her feet by James Gardner; the couple married in 1965 and celebrated the birth of their daughter, Jamie Lyn on May 1, 1981.
Linda taught at Little People’s Day School in Wallingford for many years until her retirement; she also taught ballet with Janet Fabian Young.

Over the years, she enjoyed many different hobbies, but spending quality time with family was always her favorite; she enjoyed many summers at Lake George, camping with her husband and daughter.
Linda was known to be kind and generous and had an amazing sense of humor. She was a member of The First United Methodist Church.

Linda is survived by her dedicated husband of over 55 years, James E. Gardner; her beloved nieces and nephew; as well as extended family members and friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved only daughter, Jamie Lyn Gardner as well as her brother, James R. Harnish.
Due to Covid-19, no services will be held at this time.
