WALLINGFORD, CT — The Sheehan girls basketball team won its sixth straight game to open the 2025-26 with a 38-26 victory over Cheshire on Tuesday night at Cheshire High School. The Titans won their first four games on the road, before beating Lauralton Hall 45-39 on Jan. 2 at Sheehan High School. Sheehan opened the season with a 39-35 win over Fairfield Warde on Dec. 12, before beating Law 50-35 (on Dec. 19), and then Branford, by a 46-24 score on Dec. 22. The Titans will take on Sacred Heart Academy at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9 in Hamden.
