Obituary: Margaret Gaetano, 91, of Wallingford
Margaret worked for Pratt and Whitney as a machine operator. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, ice cream and spending time with loves ones.
WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Margaret Gaetano, 91, of Wallingford, wife of the late Vincent Gaetano, passed away February 4, 2022 at Middlesex Hospital.
She was born in Hartford on December 9, 1930, a daughter of the late Arthur and Hannah (St. Martin) Brehm.
She worked for Pratt and Whitney as a machine operator. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and eating ice cream, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Hobbs and her husband, Wayne, and Joanne Bullock; her grandchildren, Brian Tornberg and his wife, Nikki, Melanie Akers and her husband, David, Ryan Sheren, Kevin Sheren, and Jeremy Sheren and his wife, Morgan; 12 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Rae Rice.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., Wallingford.
Interment in Walnut Grove will be private.
