Obituary: Marjorie Regan-Padgett, 80, of Wallingford
Margie served as a realtor for Dan Combs Real Estate for 38 years and was a dedicated and cherished member of her community.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Marjorie Regan-Padgett 80, of Wallingford, passed away at home on Monday, February 21, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Edwin L. Padgett Sr.
Margie was born in Worchester, MA, August 7, 1941, a daughter of the late Attorney William H. Regan. and Alma (Brown) Regan. She attended Central Connecticut State University. Margie was a Realtor and worked for Dan Combs Real Estate for 38 years.
She was always involved in her community. She was the treasurer of the Meriden Elks Club and treasurer for the 1959 Lyman Hall High School Reunion Committee. She was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity where she was active in the Parish Bereavement Group.
Margie is survived by her stepchildren, Andrea P. Atkins and her husband Allen of Meriden, and Edwin L. Padgett Jr. “Ski,” and his wife Blancy of Durham; grandchildren, A.J. Atkins Jr. and his wife Tiffany; 2 great-grandchildren and her siblings, Patricia (Mrs. Daniel) Combs of Wallingford, David E. Regan and his wife Catherine of Durham, and Janet (Mrs. Myron) Verner of Cheshire; in laws Kim and Douglas Brown, Donna Tillbrook, Mark Tillbrook, James and Maryann Tillbrook, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and her dear friends Debbie and Derek Sabo.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Attorney William H. Regan III, and Attorney Robert E. Regan and his wife Caroline Rogers Regan and her sister-in-law Deborah Eckersley and her brother-in-law Carl Tillbrook.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 1st, at 11am at Most Holy Trinity Church, 84 N. Colony St., Wallingford.
Inurnment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Mausoleum in Meriden. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to Master’s Manna, 428 S. Cherry St., Wallingford, CT 06492.
